summer weekend salad
- cubed or melon-balled melon (watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe, or a combo)
- thinly sliced Persian cucumber
- crumbled feta cheese
- chopped fresh herbs (such as dill, chives, and mint)
- lime zest and juice
- olive oil
- flaky salt
- sumac and/or chili powder, if desired
Combine the melon, cucumber, feta, and herbs in a large bowl. Add lime zest and juice, olive oil, and flaky salt to taste, plus a dash of sumac and/or chili powder, if using. Toss together and serve. Scale up or down as you please.
